Pickle Wars is a sidescrolling shooting, jumping and item collection game. The gameplay itself is fairly basic, the animation is a bit clunky but overall the game still plays fairly well. The graphics and sound effects are pretty average, but both are unique, as is the storyline. I didn't personally enjoy it as much as Apogee or Epic's sidescrollers, but you'll have to try it out for yourself ... its a relatively famous game.
