Squirrel is a personal finance management program which makes use of Apple technology. The interface, as in that of iTunes, lets you preview accounts, reports and budgets in Front Row view. Just like in iTunes, here you can also create smart folders with as many rules as you need. Squirrel also integrates tags, something which you don't usually see in personal finance program. The search box at the top right is a great way to quickly look up for transactions quickly. One of the more prominent features in Squirrel is netbanking. Thanks to its inbuilt browser you can consult your account online straight from the application. Reports created in Squirrel can be printed or saved to PDF and you can import files in OFX format. My only real disappointment with Squirrel is that it's limited to Euros. There is no way to pick another currency for the moment, so we really hope other ones are made available when the full version is released. Despite being limited to Euros, Squirrel is an attractive personal finance tool with perfect integration of netbanking and nice looking reports.
