Audio recording should be fun, at least that's the impression I got from trying out Voice Candy. The application offers eight different effects to play with your voice. Voice Candy is extremely simple to use: launch it, select your voice effect, press record, then save it. Effects go from chipmunk to robot, phone, mouse or even Vader. You can play back your recording and set yourself a fun reminder alarm using your recorded voice. Voice Candy lets you share your recording via Apple Mail or save it to iTunes. Voice Candy is obviously very basic as it only saves in one audio format, MOV, and it doesn't offer any editing or enhancement tools. Yet it's good fun, as much as Photo Booth is with your iSight camera. If you want to goof around with your voice, Voice Candy is the program for you, with eight different hilarious effects. Basic but very entertaining.
