Akram Media Creator is a powerful, all-in-one, multimedia application supporting a huge and impressive array of tasks. It enables you to carry out a huge number of burning functions including creating data CD's, DVD's, MP3 CD's and Real Audio. The developers claim that there is no loss in sound quality due to support of recording on the fly although this is nothing particularly special in a burner. The most appealing feature of this burner is it's sheer range. You can burn CDs and DVDs with multi session support and it automatically detects CD's and tells you exactly how big they are which can differ slightly between manufacturers. Akram Media Creator is ideal for backing up data although it's a shame it still does not support BlueRay and HD which are surely set to become increasingly important backup media. Although it's not exactly the best looking or richly featured burner I've used, it does it's job well and for range alone, it's a useful tool to have in your burning arsenal.
