ScopeDriver has become a popular planning, logging, and controlinterface for your astronomical telescope. The program is designed withelegant simplicity. It places modest demands on your system, runsquickly, and does not clutter your screen with unnecessary userinterface "features." It has been designed and refined by active,serious observers. It allows you to connect your computer to one of the followingastronomical telescopes: Meade Autostar with RS-232 serial port Meade LX200 (including LX200 GPS) Losmandy Gemini Level 1 or Level 3 Telescope compatible with Autostar, LX200 or Gemini command set And since so many instruments are compatible with some subset of theLX200 command set, there's a good chance ScopeDriver will work with yourinstrument or mount. (At this time, ScopeDriver does not supportCelestron instruments [more info.], since many of ScopeDriver's advancedfeatures are not controllable via the Celestron serial interface.)
