SimilarImages is a free application designed to find similar images (duplicates) on your harddrives.It therefore uses a fast Graphics Library to access the files and analyized the contents of the images and not the binary contents of a file. Depending on these results (datasets) SimilarImages computes comparision values on a file-to-file base. If this comparision value is below a certain, user-configurable value the file-pair will be considered to be similar and the Compare Files Window shows up.This window includes several actions you may take, like deleting one or both files or swapping files (replace one with the other). For more usability there is also another action, the Semi-automated Deletion which pre-selects one file of the given pair depending on user-configurable Rules-Set.
