This package contains the firmware image file for the HP PC Blade Enclosure Integrated Administrator. The Integrated Administrator provides management capabilities for the Enclosure. This firmware is not loaded on the HP Blade PC.
NOTE: The HP PC Blade Enclosure Integrated Administrator v4.30 firmware adds support for the HP Bladesystem PC Blade G2 Enclosure and is REQUIRED for the G2 Enclosure Upgrade Kit. In addition, this firmware provides additional support for the HP bc2200 and bc2800 Blade PCs, and continues to support the HP bc2500, bc2000, bc1500, and bc1000 Blade PC models. The included readme.txt file may contain additional information concerning the fixes and enhancements provided in v4.30, and also provides instructions for installing the firmware on the HP PC Blade Enclosure. For more details, see the "HP BladeSystem PC Blade Enclosure Integrated Administrator v4.30 Administrator's Guide."
For convience, the required Management Information Bases (MIBs) for supporting the Integrated Administrator SNMP agent are packaged in the MIBs folder within the SoftPaq. For more details, see the supplied readme.txt file.

* Reporting new power supply fans (2 total).
* Reporting new power supply thermal sensors (4 total).
* System log and event message support for new enclosure and bc2x00 blade hardware.
- Adds CPU identification reporting for the HP bc2200 and bc2800 Blade PCs.
- Adds a new Power Provisioning feature.
- Adds a new global Auto-power-on policy feature.
- Provides Web-based GUI enhancements including:
* Integrated Administrator firmware update.
* Integrated Administrator configuration script upload/download.
* Alertmail configuration.
* NTP configuration.
* Power management reporting for Power Provisioning.
* Enhanced bay informational reporting (blade BMC v25h or later is required).
* Bay temperature reporting.
* Event log enhancements.
* Bay List Page 'Refresh' button.
- Provides CLI enhancements including:
* Enhanced bay informational reporting (blade BMC v25h or later required).
* New 'list' keyword enhancements to enclosure temperature, bay status, bay temperature, and bay info commands.
* New power summary command.
* Enhancement for enclosure status command.
* Enhancements to enclosure fan and temperature reporting for G2 enclosures.
* New power history commands for enclosure and bay power reporting.
* SNMP trap policy settings for enabling/disabling individual traps.
* Adding 'H' and '?' as synonyms for the Help command.
* Adding syslog display filtering by severity keyword.
* Enhancements to the enclosure info command.
* Support for all ASCII symbols in text in all contact and location information fields.
* Adding 'TIME' as a synonym for 'DATE' for use with Show Date and Set Date commands.

- Enhances SNMP support for HP-specific CPQRACK MIB (ver. 1.12) with new OIDs and traps.
- Adds system log entry if NTP server is unreachable.
FIXES:
- Provides daylight savings time (DST) corrections including:
* Support for new 2005 DST changes.
* Corrected time display for time zones that do not observe DST.
* Corrected time zone display is incorrect or inconsistent between the CLI and GUI.
- Fixes an issue where an NTP failover to a secondary NTP server does not work correctly, which eventually results in the NTP server and enclosure IA being out of sync.
- Fixes an issue where the Generate Certificate CLI command requires confirmation, even with Expert and/or Script mode enabled.
- Fixes an issue where there is a prompt missing when downloading a configuration script, even though Expert mode is disabled.
- Fixes an issue where Telnet or SSH Sessions do not close correctly (sessions may hang and have to be closed manually) after flash updating the IA Firmware.
- Removes a confirmation prompt that is inadvertently displayed when the Set Factory command is used while in Expert mode.
- Fixes a slight GUI text alignment issue that appears on the enclosure Informational Page.
- Fixes an incorrect text output of "Invalid Arguments" when using inline help with some commands in the CLI.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
