Firmware 4.2.0 adds support for the following devices:
- Sprint Franklin 3G/4G U770
- Airtel Huawei E1731 (India)
- Orange Huawei E3131 (UK)
- 3 Huawei E3231 (UK)
- Vodafone ZTE K3770 (UK)

Firmware 4.2.0 added the following features:
- NHRP (Next Hop Resolution Protocol) - MBR1400/IBR600/IBR650 only
- DHCP relay - MBR1400/IBR600/IBR650/CBA750 only
- Per-client web filtering & data usage - MBR1400/IBR600/IBR650/CBA750 only
- Admin username/password can now be configured to use RADIUS or TACACS+ - MBR1400/IBR600/IBR650/CBA750 only
- GPS updates for IBR600/IBR650
- IP settings overrides
- Custom AT scripting to modems
- Firmware upgrade & system config restore

Firmware 4.2.0 fixes the following issues:
- Data usage UI page now works properly on the MBR95
- Hotspot usage statistics have been repaired
- MBR95 + MiFi 4620L WiFi as WAN problems fixed
- Status/Internet Connections -> Statistics -> Connection Uptime was changed from seconds to days:hours:minutes.:
