Installation notes:

BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA!!
This procedure requires you to format the HDDs
ALL DATA WILL BE LOST!

- Confirm HDD utility shows HDDs as SDA and SDB in RAID
If the HDDs are shown as anything other than SDA and SDB restart your PleXtor StorX via the GUI and check again
- Move the HDDs SDA and SDB back into the JBOD Box and disable the RAID
- Format HDD SDA
- Format HDD SDB
- Restart your PleXtor StorX via the GUI
- Confirm HDD utility shows HDDs as SDA and SDB in JBOD
If the HDDs are shown as anything other than SDA and SDB restart your PleXtor StorX via the GUI and check again
UPGRADE TO VERSION 1.03 FIRMWARE
DO NOT POWER OF DURING FIRMWARE UPGRADE!
- Observe the LEDs on your PleXtor StorX and confirm it restarts – this may take a few minutes
- Close the PleXtor StorX GUI
- Delete all cookies via Internet Explorer
- Access you PleXtor StorX GUO via the NetTool and confirm the firmware version is now 1.03
- Re-configure the product into RAID1
- Re-Configure the products users, groups and folders
- Copy your backed-up data onto your PleXtor StorX
- Upgrade process complete


It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest drivers, software and games.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
