RIFFStrip is a command line tool than can extract the original stream from a RIFF WAVE file, ex: RAW/PCM, MP3, AC3, etc. While there are others similar utilities that simply strip the firsts xx bytes, RIFFStrip fully processes the complete chunks-chain to locate the "data" chunk.
