This download supports Intel 2208 ROC (RAID On Chip) RAID controllers/modules using SAS software stack (RMS25PB080, RMS25PB040, RMT3PB080, RMS25CB080, RMS25CB040, RMT3CB080, RS25AB080, RS25SB008, RS25DB080, RS25NB008). Intel RAID Modules RMS25CB080N and RMS25PB080N are "N" SKU modules with the battery backup connector removed. Firmware version 23.2.1-0046 is the only firmware that supports the N SKU modules. Other firmware versions do not have the device IDs in the NVDATA to support these modules. 1. Firmware version 23.4.1-0028 supports all 2208 ROC RAID controller/modules except the "N" SKU and provides Solid State Disk (SSD) cache 2.0 support. 2. Firmware version 23.2.1-0046 supports all 2208 ROC RAID controller/modules including the "N" SKU, but does not provide SSD cache 2.0 support. 3. Previous firmware releases to version 23.2.1-0046 do not support the "N" SKU.
