The EVGA Fanspeed Unlocker allows you to adjust your card from 30-100%, for greater flexibility in fan control. Essentially the EVGA Fanspeed Unlocker updates the cards firmware. This means that this update is attached to the card, no matter where it goes. If you update the driver, the EVGA Fanspeed Unlocker is still applied. These updates will also apply the latest firmware updates, which may or may not have other updates.
