Network Activity Indicator brings back the system tray network activity indicator found in previous versions of Windows. Unlike the standard Windows 7 network icon, Network Activity Indicator flashes whenever there is incoming or outgoing activity on the network (like it used to be on XP). In addition, you can hover your mouse over the icon to view current Sent/Received statistics and access detailed statistics and network settings from the right-click menu. Network Activity Indicator can show network traffic for all adapters or only for the selected interface.
