Add GPEDIT.msc adds the Group Policy Editor to Windows editions that normally don't have it including such as Starter Edition, Home, and Home Premium.
Once installed, you should be able to run gpedit.msc. Click your Windows key + S and search will come up. Type in gpedit.msc.
We were not able to test this on Windows 7 but Windows 7 x64 Users should copy the GroupPolicy, GroupPolicyUsers folder, and the gpedit.msc file into the System32 folder from the SysWOW64 folder. Both folders can be found in your Windows directory.
Some Windows 10 users may get an error that says MMC could not create the snap-in. If so, please follow these steps:
Search “cmd” and run as admin Type: cd/ then enter Type: cd windows then enter Type: cd temp then enter Type: cd gpedit then enter Type: x64.bat then enter
