FaviconizeTab 0.9.7.4
Firefox is a great application for heavy web browsers. That is, those who like to open about twenty different websites in each session and endlessly jump from one webpage to another. The problem comes when there are so many tabs opened that you can't really see what's on each one of them.
The answer to this problem is FaviconizeTab. This neat extension adds a new command to the tab's context menu that enables you to reduce it to its minimum expression: the website's favicon. In this way you'll be able to open many more tabs using more or less the same space.
After installing FaviconizeTab, I didn't like the fact that you have to faviconize each tab one by one and that they come back to their normal status after restarting the browser. However, a quick look at the extension's options reveals the possibility to faviconize tabs automatically when launching Firefox.
